My name is Nikolai Mikhailov. I have worked in appliance service for more than ten years — approximately five years in Russia and five years in the United States.
I built Nik’s Fix Appliance because I genuinely enjoy solving technical problems and restoring equipment properly. Every visit is handled with respect for your home, clear explanations, and straightforward recommendations.

How much is the service call?
The standard service call is $75 and is waived when the repair is approved. After a previously completed paid service, a returning customer who contacts Nik’s Fix Appliance directly for a new, separately scheduled appliance problem receives a $39 service-call rate; that fee is also waived when the new repair is approved. This does not mean another charge for a continuation of the same unresolved problem, a warranty appointment, or a callback. Third-party marketplace and paid-lead bookings do not qualify for the returning-customer rate.
What warranty do you provide?
Completed repairs include a 12-month warranty on installed parts and a 6-month warranty on labor, subject to the written repair terms.
Do you repair premium appliance brands?
Yes. Nik’s Fix Appliance services premium brands including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Thermador, Viking, Miele, Cove, Dacor, GE Profile, Bosch, and Gaggenau, as well as leading standard brands.
Is the $589 care package a subscription?
No. It is a one-time annual-care visit with no automatic renewal or required subscription. The regular price is $589, or a first-time customer can text CARE550 to pay $550. For returning customers, the second and every following Annual Appliance Care visit is $489. Discounts and promotional offers cannot be combined.
Do you offer military, veteran, or senior discounts?
Yes. Active-duty military members, veterans, and seniors age 65+ receive $25 off a completed repair or maintenance service. Mention the discount when booking. Discounts and promotional offers cannot be combined. One offer may be used per service visit.
Do you service commercial appliances?
Yes. Commercial appliance diagnostics, selected repairs, and preventive maintenance are available by appointment.
Do you clean dryer vents that exit through a wall or roof?
Yes. Dryer vent cleaning is available for accessible first-floor wall exits, one-story roof exits, and two-story roof exits. Starting prices depend on the route and access conditions.
